Christina became a massage therapist in 2007 after completing her bachelors in biomedical sciences in 2006. As a Massage Therapist, she has helped numerous people, of all ages, genders and abilities, increase mobility and reduce stress. She went on to earn a post graduate diploma in public health. During her public health studies, she became interested in the massive effects of breast-feeding on a population. Learning that exclusive breast-feeding could save more than 800,000 lives per year was enough to motivate her to learn how to better support breastfeeding in the population. She went on to become a practical nurse and a certified lactation counselor. Through her research into the postpartum period, it became evident to Christina just how little support there is for new parents in our society. Because of this she sought out varying ways to help make the child birthing year a safer and more pleasant experience for the family unit. Christina welcomes all walks of life into her practice and is happy to support you in whatever decisions you feel are right for your family.
