health coaching

Spirited Wellness introduces health coaching to assist you with your health goals.

Health Coaching means a lot of different things to different people. For us, it means to collaborate with you about defining your goals, creating steps to achieve them and helping you navigate any roadblocks that may come up along the way. I am not here to nag or hold you accountable. I am merely here as a guide and someone you can lean on to help you make the best decisions for yourself and your health. A Health Coach is a part of your healthcare team. We are happy to work with any of your providers to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible. We may even recommend that you see a specialist for further advice on a particular subject.

3 Month Weekly Program

3 month, weekly program: With this program, you will meet with your Health Coach once a week for 3 months. During these weekly visits you will discuss what went well, what needs improvement, and what we can do to make the program work better for you. This program is ideal for people that need consistent check-ins to help stay motivated and on task. 

6 Month Tapering Program

With this program, you will begin by meeting with your Health Coach once a week for the first 4 weeks. Then you will progress to once every other week for 4 sessions. Then once a month for 3 months. During these visits you will discuss what went well, what needs improvement, and what we can do to make the program work better for you. This program is ideal for people that need some guidance to get off the ground, but are happy to continue alone, once they know what they are doing.

With both programs, your Health Coach is available via text or email if something comes up that you need help navigating. We ask that you keep this part of the service for urgent issues only. If you simply have a question that can wait, please write it down and save it for your next scheduled session. Another option for something that can wait, is to email the question with "nonurgent" in the subject. This way your Health Coach can answer when possible, or keep the question for your next scheduled appointment.
